I think you might like the Ocala Waterway area or the Fore Ranch community.

Be careful of the area to the west on State Road 200. There are some beautiful homes out there, but it has been overdeveloped and the traffic in and out of town can be horrible. Depending on how much you are able to spend, I have noticed some beautiful homes in the 17th street area. Ocala has some of the best neighborhoods right in town. You can be driving through the business district, make a left/right and suddenly find youself on a quiet oak lined street that looks like something out of an old movie. In most cities, these homes would go for $500k and up, but in Ocala there are many in the low $200k range. Good luck.

You might mention if you are over 55 (some communities require that you are 55 or older) have children in school, and why you are moving here. Would also help if you gave some idea of what you like and do not like - close to shopping, country or farm are etc.
