Looking for apartment. Advenir at Stone Lake appears (on net) to be attractive.
That's 1601 sw 27th ave and looks close enough to Sam's Club sw college rd, where I might nab a job.
The bus service there, is it good?

Other places of course maybe a little lower in rent like Green Gables, etc...

But my consern is mostly, besides keeping cost on the lower end, with location being suitable for easy fast transport to markets, walmarts, etc... and some comfortability - washer dryer, pool, screen porch.
And what the enviornment is like where I will live. Peaceful, friendly, laid back, restful is my aim.

Any one familiar with the neigborhoods and apartments there??

As someone who lives near and drives by the community frequently, I have heard that it can be a rough community and not the best place to live. Just my opinion. I think you can do better.

Thanks.

Best for me is close to Sam's or a Walmart as I have to cab or bus to work. I am sure I can transfer or take an opening there. I work for CROSSMARK INC. I demo food products, we are titled Event Specialists. We are situated mostly at Sam's Clubs and Walmarts.
I like to have a market close, in the bus or cabbing range too.

Can you set me in any particular direction for housing.
I'm 62yrs. and might also be able to afford senior housing as it is lower cost.

But definitly not wanting to live in a rough section.

Another shot was suggested to me a while ago on forum.
Hows the area around Magnolia Trace 2952 NE 14th St. ?
Rent is low, but no patio or washer and dryer and not many trees around spins a downside.
But if neighborhood is peaceful could be a a fair choice.

the area around Magnolia Trace isn't too bad, but those apartments look trashy. I'd recommend Cypresside Townhouses behind Brick City Park off 17th and Lake Weir Rd. Lots of cops live in that community, very quiet and very safe. Closer to Sam's and Walmart than Magnolia, the rent is very reasonable, has a pool on premises, just a good area to be in overall. Google them and check it out for yourself.

Magnolia Walk looks good, but only problem is (it states) each person renting there must be 62 years or older. Wife is 60.
I might phone them anyway!

I'm checking Sun Tran as I need to bus, can't see any routes to Sam's Club sw collage Rd.

From Magnolia Trace is direct 2.1 mile to Wall-Mart, Silver Springs Blvd.

Any input on busing from Cypresside or Magnolia Walk? I'm going street crazy on the maps.
