Does anyone have any feedback in dealing with DR Horton? We are considering on of their communities south of Ocala. I would love to hear your thoughts!

I'm curious too. The houses in the Windsong community in Leesburg look really nice, though the HOA fees ($100/mo) seem a bit high.

Hi, I havent had any dealings with them but they are also in an area where we are in the process of buying a new home on the east cost. Wife and I chose a different builder primarily because we do not want a frame house in Florida which is the type of home D R Horton builds.

Not saying which is better but we prefer a block home in Florida rather than a framed home . This is just an FYI incase you weren't aware that they do build frame not block homes. Good Luck

DR Horton is one of the biggest builders in the country. When I lived in So.FLa, the houses were all block and stucco, including the 2 stories. Not too many stick houses built or even allowed due to SFl codes after Andrew came ashore.
