My husband and I have been looking at some condos online next to the country club at Silver Springs shores. I have been seeing things saying there is a higher crime rate in Silver Springs Shores. Does that include the golf course area? If not how far away would the crime neighborhoods be? Any help would be appreciated..we don't want to make a mistake. Thank you.

There are parts of the Shores where crime is higher, but don't paint the entire area as crime ridden. Check out the FDLE (Florida Dept of Law Enforcement) internet site for specific details about crime for specific areas.

Maybe it is higher in the Shores but that doesn't mean it has high crime.

Try EIS Online Mapping
This is a crime map. Might take a few minutes to figure out how it works.
Also Marion County Sheriff | Sheriff Chris Blair, located in Ocala, FL
You can call the local sheriffs office too. Very citizen friendly.
