LOL, I just hope we're not praying for the overcast in the middle of August. Anyway, we're almost halfway through summer. Two more months and a couple of weeks and that first cool-down should hit us.

One thing I noticed, having moved up to Gainesvile from SFLA, is that after the rains, it's cooler. You can enjoy an early evening walk with the dog. When it's overcast, it's also not as bad as the southern half of the state.

I just remember the hot hot sun and awful humidity throughout the day in SFLA. Not saying it doesn't happen up here, but I have more pleasant moments.

You hit the nail on the head! So far, the summer up here is definitely not as vicious as it was in the Tampa Bay area. And my power bill agrees.

I've noticed that too. It doesn't last, but sometimes with the rain, we get as much as 20 degree temperature drops very, very quickly. I wasn't expecting that. Lots of places I've lived, the temp and humidity just get worse.

Two more months of summer. Two more months. Plus a week, maybe.

No rain today. I'm sick of living in this desert.
