Smile Rolling Hills Subdivision SW 94 LN

Hello. Can somebody please provide information on the Rolling Hills subdivision (close to the Hills of Ocala). The last time we visited the area, the subdivision was still undeveloped. Are there any new developments to the area? If my memory serves me right, Rolling Hills is close to a main road and to a state road. Appreciate any information since we are looking at retiring in the area. Thanks.

I might be too late to answer you.... but I live in Rolling Hills. It is far from being built out. there is 82 miles that make up rolling hills and there are only about 700 families in here as of this date. We are getting the main roads paved and it is a nice quiet area. If you are still looking let me know...happy to give you more info

Default Taxes in Rolling Hills

We have put an offer on a home in rolling hills. I am originally from NY and had visited the Ocala area a couple times and loved it. Can you tell me about the taxes in that area? There is a lot I do not know about the area but I am so excited about the move. Any information you can give me would be wonderfully appreciated. Linda and George

Hi Linda and George
I'm in Rolling Hills. If your house is new your taxes will be really cheap since the first year you will only pay for the land. We are going into our second year and taxes run about 3000 for a 3400 sq foot house on 1 1/2 acres. The main road is finally getting some sort of paving. Walmart and some other stores are only a few miles away. Tell me what you want to know and will be happy to tell you.

Rolling Hills is for the most part not paved. the main highways that come into Rolling hills are, that Route 484 and 40. The main road thru Rolling Hills just got some sort of paving. My husband says it looks like they sprayed some sort of tar on the road. Its way better than it used to be. Now the side roads...I've lived here a year and I have never seen any type of maintanance done on these roads. But with the main road being some sort of paved, its really not too bad as long as you own a truck. its very nice and very quiet. Sometimes you see some of the wildlife. There is a unoffical Homeowners association. They invite you to meetings, I've never gone since it really doesnt seem to have to much point to it. I think its more of neighbors who want to get together. They are building a firehouse/Rescue a few miles away so that will be a new added safety feature. Let me know if I can help with anything else.... Yvonne
PS where in Rolling Hills are you looking??
