Default atv ing at Ocala Nat. Forest

Does any one know what it is like to ride atv's in ONF? How are the trails? What is it like compared to Croom? We've ridden at Croom several years ago & my husband attempted to try to check out Ocala, but it took him like an hour to get to the entrance. He drove over by himself, in his truck & turned around & said noway is he going to drive the camper up that rode. The road was horrible. Is there another way in? Did they do any improvements? I also read somewhere that they put a speed limit on the trails, which would stink. Is this true? Is it all the trails or just certain ones? We are thinking about moving south & we like to ride atv's, but I think your state only has croom & ocala. Croom was ok, but with all the whoops & twists & turns, it's not that fun. (can't go too fast for too long)

Ocala Forest is nice for trial riding but thats all it is trail riding. A lot of new rules have been applied since someone got killed in there I would contact the Forest Dept, and have them send you some info.

I live 9 minutes from the Ocala National Forest. It is allot of fun to ride in. There are miles of trails and it all depends on where you go to ride. Bring lots of water though.
