SW Ocala near high school and Thoroughbred acres (homes, airport)

Can anyone speak about this area? We are from CT looking for that second home to retire to eventually. Looked at a property amidst a lot of horses on a street across from the high school out there. Cannot remember the name of that road but it is off that. We looked at a couple of homes up the road from there in what I think is officially called Thoroughbred Acres like 17th and 19th place but it was very trailer park like. didnt like that but what about the area across from the high school? On other side of 80th??

the school is Westport, and the area is bordered by retirement areas on one side, the airport property on another, and the trailer parks pepper the rest. There are some nice developments along 60th, you might wish to look there, near the post office.

Over by the airport is alot of nice homes and the rolling hills area
