That price sounds awfully high.

Half or a third of that is probably more normal these days.

I am not following the local market that closely these days but that seems way inflated above some comparable.

Reddick has some pricey real estate in its zip code near Roberts Quarter Horse farm west of town, but the town is kinda a dump. There are some high crime demographics there too mostly to the east.

I know of a run down trailer on 10 acres that recently sold for 220K. That same land was going for 5,000 an acre in 2000. There evidently are still suckers ripe for the fleecing in the Ocala area!
