Default Zoar / Bolivar Apartments

I just accepted a new job in Zoar, Ohio and I start in 2 weeks. I've been looking all over the internet for apartments in the area and can't find a thing, presumably because it is such a small town. I searched the neighboring city of Bolivar as well and didn't find anything there either. I'm an hour north of Zoar right now (Cuyahoga Falls) and will probably make the commute for a month or so, but can't afford to do that for very long with gas prices the way they have been. Anybody know of any apartments or houses for rent in that area? No more than a 10 minute commute would be ideal.

Also if anybody who lives in that area could let me know what it's like down there I'd sure appreciate it. I know there's pretty much nothing but a bunch of farmland down there, but how far to the nearest shopping? (ie. Target, Best Buy, etc.) I saw a Giant Eagle when I was down there interviewing, so the groceries are covered at least lol. And how about the weather? I'm sure it can't be any worse than it is here, but I read an article about a major flood in the area 2 years ago, is this a common problem? How much snow typically falls in the winter? Any help on this would be MUCH appreciated!

Default Bolivar

I am from the area and it is a very nice little town. I dont think there are any apts in Zoar. The closest place would be Bolivar and that is only 5 minutes from Zoar. The closest shopping would be Canton (25 min) or New Phila (15 min) other than that there is a Dollar General and the Giant Eagle. That was the first time I experianced a flood that bad in this area. I know several years ago there was another one but I believe there has only been two. Let me know if you need anymore information.
