Holmes County, Ohio
Howdy ho folks.
Possibly relocating to Holmes County and need some info.
I'm intereted in renting a house for my boys and I and can't find any classifieds for the area. I'd really appreciate a local newspaper link.
Any and all information would be appreciated.
Thanks

Holmes County is about 2 hours away from Columbus and is very rural. Other than that, I dont know a whole lot.

Holmes County newspaper
try www.farcorner-online.com
It's a neat little newspaper I picked up in Holmes County recently. They have a few classifieds. Also, Google for Holmes County and some of the towns and cities - Millersburg, Sugarcreek, for instance.

Thanks. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything for classifieds. I do know when they butterfly hike and ice cream social is.
The job is looking more like mine...

There is a free weekly paper called The Bargain Hunter and a newspaper called Holmes County Hub - not sure if it's daily or not.

Hi, yes, Holmes County is in Amish Country, beautiful there. We used to go to SugarCreek & Millersburg all the time when we lived in the Ohio Valley. You might want to try Dover OH. My husband always liked it there. Sorry I have no links for newspapers tho. Good Luck.

Holmes County Resident
Hello, I am a resident of holmes county (the heart of Amish Country). Everyone was right about what they said about this area, it is beautiful country setting with ALOT of Amish people. There isn't that much to do here. You either have to go to Wooster, or to Dover to do anything which are both 30 minutes away. If you would like some information on holmes county check out this website. WWW.AMISH-HEARTLAND.COM (broken link) That should be able to answer any questions you have on the area and give you adequate places to stay.
