Oh, but there is a Wal-Mart just south of Oberlin now. It opened last fall. But I still think it's a nice college town. There are some unique restaurants & coffee shops, the old theater used to charge $2.00 admission on Tues. & Thurs. Not only is there music, but a small art museum in the downtown area. In the spring & summer it's nice to get an ice cream cone & sit outside at one of the tables & people watch. Students from all over the world attend Oberlin College. I live about 12 miles S. of Oberlin. Good luck!
