Why does Ohio have no Jack-In-The-Box? (Cincinnati, Hamilton: how much, movie theater, live)

Where I came from, we had sonics -so I'm sort of use to having one around and was surprised to see one open near by.....

I, too, enjoyed Jack-in-the-Box when I was out West! And I love their irreverant TV commercials almost as much as their food. I also enjoy Sonic and Carl's Jr., too. The sad thing is; my wife and I rarely eat fast food anymore. And the few times we've ventured back, we've been mostly disappointed (McD's & B.K.) The incredible amount of salt is what we dislike the most... (If I could have just ONE fast food outlet in OH that we don't have now, it'd be "In n' Out Burger...)

One time I was getting out of my car to go in a McDonalds to get one of their salads...I noticed a Jack in the Box cup in the cup holder of the car next to me...

I asked the people where they got the cup from (I was almost breathless in the hope that a Jack In The Box had moved in here in Florida). These people had been traveling and said they got the cup further North. I was crushed.

We have Checkers here, its similar to Rallys, their frys are awesome but the quality of the meat for their burgers is NOTHING like Jack In The Box...sigh...

We have a sonic here in Orange City. My daughter gets a real kick out of seeing the girls roller skating back and forth with the food.

I know Cleveland has two Fat Burger locations and outwest Fat burger and In and Out are head to head in cpmpetition like MickeyD's and Burger King.

Agreed. Steak n Shake is the Midwest's gift to the world as far as chain restaurants go Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio are Steak 'n Shake kingdoms, well, at least I know for a fact that Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana are. I've found them to be VERY numerous in these states. I'm not sure how numerous they are in the other states of the Midwest besides these three (MO, IL, IN) though. I don't remember seeing as many in Ohio.
