I'm the odd man out here......I don't like Steak 'n Shake at all. Blech! The times I've been there, the burgers were dry, thin and skimpy, with crusty burnt edges. The buns were dry and flat, and hardly any fresh veggies on the burgers. I simply don't like ANY of their food at all.
Personally, I've never been to Jack in the Box, so I don't know what to compare it to, but I do think Rally's fries are the best of any fast food joints I've been to, and pretty much Wendy's has the best burgers. Or Burger King.

I don't like steak and shake either. I worked at Rally's corporate office when it was still here in Louisville and got a bit burnt out on them after a while lol but they do have good fries!

I judge a burger by how much soy protein I can taste in it and I have a Steak and Shake on the way home...it had alot of soy in it...it was good but not really a steak burger like they claim.
NOW the Jack in the Box burgers taste like they came off your own grill after being formed by your own hand...there are SO good.
Jack In The Box - Locations
This maps shows the closest Jack in the Box to me here in Florida is either Lousiana or South Carolina...I am SAD.

There's also one in Franklin and one in Hamilton. In addition, there will be one in eastern Cincinnati where the old Showcase Cinemas movie theater at Eastgate was. Sonic is my all-around favorite fast food chain!

WAIT! I'm considering a move to Ohio (lived in CA for the first 30 years of my life, now I'm in Boise, Idaho)...and I didn't even stop to wonder what kind of food places there might or might not be! No Jack-in-th-Box or In-N-Out? Sonics are hard to find? Hmmm. We don't eat out all the time or anything, and especially not fast food, but we do have it sometimes.
GASP! Please tell me you have Panda Express out there! Please! Please!

MAN, when we moved to Florida and there were NO Jack in the Box and do you have any idea how far I have to drive to find a Dairey Queen?? Those are on every street corner in Texas...it took me awhile to adjust.
