Jack in the Box is big in California where Im originally from. I really miss it. The selections for fast food here are really bad. I tried Sonic just for something new,but out of three times it was terrible every time. Burger King is allways dry and the food usually sits in the steam table for 4 hours. (The one in Medina,at lunch,if they are busy is good, but that was the exception. Out of about 10 or so times ive tried Burger Kings other than that,it was terrible. McDonalds is consistantly mediocre. Not bad, somewhat tastey and not stale, but not great either. Hardees is OK,but in Ca we had Carls JR,same company, different menu. If you have one near you,get the double western bacon cheesburger, but we dont have any in ohio. Wendys is good as allways but thats about it,so Ive eaten it too much.
What I really want right now is a Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburge with a oreo cookie shake and 4 tacos.

Not sure why Sonic is so highly rated? Why would I want to frequent a place where I have to eat in my car? No way do I want that smell or grease in my leather seats.

Actually Jack in the Box is very good. At least the ones in California are. The food is always fresh and most are open 24 hours. I love that place. The tacos on the other hand are a different story. I personally love them, but you have to remember, they are not really tacos, like say from taco bell. They are of course a corn tortilla with some filling, but they come frozen and get deep fried. You either like em or you don't. Their burgers though are top notch. If there was one anywhere within an hours drive I would go there. Almost eveyrone I know in Ca loves Jack in The Box with the exception of the vegitarians.

Back in the 70s and early 80s Jack in the Box had several locations in the Washington DC area. Around 80-81 they split town. I loved their unhealthy, deep fried regular sized tacos and couldn't get enough of them. I was not crazy about the burgers or fries just give me those tacos! In the late 90s I was visiting Phenix and stopped at a Jack in the Box around 8 am and ordered 5 tacos for breakfast.

If that was the case then they might be in Ohio too, but Jack in the box is mainly a western chain. Ohio is much closer to the south than it is to the west.

Panda Express is disgusting.
Most chains suck. The only good restaurant chains are the chains that have fewer than 10 locations. Sure fast food is ok, but it's not exactly great food.
I prefer to eat at non-chains.

Ok, south, southwestern, and western.
How many northern or northeastern states are they located in out of 17 states?
