Default Fredricktown/Mt Vernon Area need info

Was wanting to get some info on Fredricktown area. I lived there when I was about 8 and that has been about 30 yrs ago. Is the cost of living there low or high ? Is there any good jobs close? I looking at moving there in about 2 months and would lovesome input form someone who knows the area. Any Info would be helpful. Thanks....

Fredricktown is a nice small town, But Mt. Vernon would probably be better for a job. Either way its just a short drive from one to the other... Anything in north central Ohio is higher than anywhere else as far as Gas prices go, but other than that I guess its not any more expensive than anywhere else.

Fredricktown is sort of the border for the gas pricing and many times its a little cheaper than anything north of there. I generally fill up there anytime I go through just because it is a little cheaper.
