My husband and I are going to be new to that area. We are wondering if there is any type of cab service that runs out there...We would like to explore the local little bars but don't drink and drive. Any suggestions would be greatly apppreciated,
Thanks so much

I doubt that you could get a cab to go out there because of the distance. You might be able to call the city bus that is supposed to go anywhere in the County. I hope that you use it. We pay taxes for it.

Looking at their schedule, you'll need to get your drinking done by 6 PM.

Actually, i see a decent amount of cabs driving around the valley. I think USA taxi goes just about everywhere, maybe you could call and ask? I think most people around here drink and drive or have a dd if they're going out. I hear the cabs around here are nasty, can't say i can verify that though.

Independent Taxi, in downtown Youngstown, has really improved their cars over the last several years. They are still old fleet vehicles, but they are not nearly as bad as they were back when I first used one in 2002.

Unfortunately for the OP, I don't know if they would go all the way out to Craig Beach.

I live in Lake Milton now, and there is no local public transportation that I know of.... never see cabs around here.

If you can say where about on the lake you will be living I can let you know what bars are close by and what they are like -- depending on where you are it's possible you could walk in decent weather to a few places.
