HI, my family and I just moved to Warren. We are looking for a resturant or store that cooks puerto rican food. I know there are not any in Warren, but maybe in or around Youngstown? We are from Lorain, and there were places to go to that cooked some good rice and beans and pastillios. I know there are plenty in Cleveland, but was hoping there was something closer to Warren. I found alot of Mexican resturants, but we want puerto rican food. Hope someone can help!! Thanks in advance.

Come to think of it, I've never seen a Puerto Rican restaurant anywhere in the Ytown area. But I'm thinking there should be one because there is a significant Puerto Rican community here... I'll ask around and see if there's anywhere to get some comida puertoriqueña!

Thanks. Ive been looking online but all I can find is places in Cleveland. Someone told us that there is a place on the southside of Youngstown, but he wasn't really sure of the exact location or name.

I found one in Boardman on Mathews Rd off of South Ave. It is Papa's Pizza. They make all kinds of Puerto Rican food.

I went there yesterday. I had some Spanish rice and beans with beef stew, it was ok. Their pastellios are really good. They have a menu in the phone book, thats how I found them. You can't really tell that they serve Puerto Rican food just by driving by. The sign says Pizza-Latin Food. The owner says he is working on changing the sign to make it more noticeable that they do serve Puerto Rican food. They are open from 11am to 11pm M-S, and Sunday 12-9.
