Talking Norwalk

Anybody know anything about Norwalk? Or the surrounding area. I work for new Horizons Baking Co. and they gave me the opportunity to move to their Norwalk plant.Just wondering about the area.

I had a client once in Norwalk. Seemed like typical, small town Ohio. The only thing I found unusual was their high school mascot were the "Truckers." I guess the trucking industry was or still is a central part of the city's economy. Other than that, they are reasonbly close to the lake, and that's kinda cool.

Norwalk was home to Norwalk Truck lines, they got bought out in the late 60`s, early 70`s. The Truckers name comes from that, a big business in the town at the time.
