Default Having trouble meeting people in Springfield, OH

Hey! Just moved to Springfield OH and having a hard time meeting people my own age. I am in my late 20's and moved here to take a new job. I am finding Springfield to be a "dead" and "depressed" city. There is not really that much to do here. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions in finding some people to get together with in the area. Thanks for your help.

Hope someone can help you. I live in Fairborn and have not heard the greatest things about Springfield but everything I've heard is 3rd hand and very vague. Like no one really lives there
There's always Columbus?
