Default What to do in Ohio - Positive Posts only Please

How about we focus on what there is to do in Ohio. We might attract some people to visit our state (and spend some bucks here). We all know about the Cedar Point, Kings Island, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, etc. venues. Why don't we highlight the smaller, lesser known attractions around the state, especially the ones that are free or inexpensive. My only request is, let's please keep the posts positive. Thanks in advance.

I will start with Williams County, in the extreme Northwest corner. I am sure there are more than this. I just came up with this list off the top of my head this evening. I will also be the first to admit that I have not been to every one of these places. Enjoy, and please contribute for your area.

Williams County Historical Society – Museum Complex, Log Cabin, Hay Jay School, Hopewell Indian Mounds, etc. http://www.williamscountyhistory.org/

Spangler Candy Company, Bryan – Visit the home of the Dum-Dums http://www.spanglercandy.com/

Montpelier Public Library - http://montpelierpubliclibrary.oplin.org/

Williams County Public Library – Locations throughout the county - http://www.williamsco.lib.oh.us/

Williams County Community Theater - http://mywcct.com/

Christmas Manor & Christmas Manor B&B, Bryan - http://www.christmasmanor.com/

Stony Ridge Winery, Bryan - http://www.stoneyridgewinery.com/

County wide park system, as well as parks and picnic areas in each community.

Seven Public school districts in the county with all the athletic, music, theater, and academic events that go along with them.

Youngstown also has Powers Auditorium, Stambaugh Auditorium, and the Packard Music Hall in Warren. I believe there is also the Packard car museum in Warren.

Geauga Lake is an amusement park owned by Cedar Point. It's in Aurora.

In the Dayton area, there's the National Museum of the Air Force (of course, people will probably always call it "The Air Force Museum")

I forgot Lester's Diner in Bryan. The Coffee Cup sign matches the one from the "Alice" TV show from a few years back.

The Cleveland Orchestra is one of the best in the nation. They hold summer concerts at the Blossom Music Center where lawn seats are cheap, but are still worth hearing at Severance Hall no matter the price. http://www.clevelandorch.com/
