Default St. Marys and surroundings

My husband may have a job offer in St. Mary's Ohio. I want to know what is around there and any photos would be great.

We are looking to rent a house that allows 2 dogs. It will be my husband, me and my father in law. We do not want to live in a city like Pittsburgh Pa where we are from. I AMD hard of hearing/deaf so I can pretty much do any kind of work. I hear very well with hearing aids.

Thank you, we are currently searching for homes for rent in St. Marys or Celina Ohio. I do not want to go into Lima because it is not as nice as I heard.

I grew up in Lima and my parents still live there. While Lima has challenges it is not a bad place to live.

St. Marys and Celina are both nice places to live. I drive through both often on the way to visiting my parents.

We lived in Celina and St. Marys both when we were younger and I was just starting my career. Both nice towns. Sometimes we wish we had stayed there, but then you never know how things would have turned out.

I did see some nice part of Lima online such as Shawnee area. We are willing to get somewhere even if it is just to get our foot in with the jobs and do a 1 year lease then search closer. We want to be right by the lake.

I agree with you rrtechno.

My aunt and my cousin both went to St Marys to visit and she said is absolutely beautiful there. I have a friend that my husband and I met online we became very close to. He is from St. Marys and he is the one who is working on getting him a job there where he works. He will be talking with his hiring boss next Friday.

Right by the bustling metropolis of Wapakoneta...

Let me guess... Goodyear?

I spent a few weeks there back in the 90s. If you're looking for a quiet, old-town feeling type of place, St. Mary's is for you.

If you are also looking for a job, the main employers in that area are parts suppliers for Japanese motorcycles and the branch campus of Wright State University that has a St. Mary's address but is not in town.

Its a job making rims for foreign cars. Hyundai, jaguar. Etc.

We are making the move one way or another. We will know more next week for jobs. Only problem we have is that we just got Verizon Fios. We found out no where near or in St. Marys Oh have Verizon Fios. I do not want to pay for cancellation fee.

I don't believe there should be any cancellation fee if they don't offer the service at the location where you are moving. Anyhow that is what a Verizon customer service supervisor told me about their wireless cell service.
