I live in southern WV and I hate it. the people are klannish and unfriendly. i was told i would never be one of them and this was after I left a nursing home i volunteered at. These people are not the kind to stop and chat like back home. I have been gone 35 years but youngstown will always be home. I visit occasionally and I miss pirogies rulli brothers grocery, handels ice cream, the church festivals, going to pymatuning lake to camp, the pizzas, bellarias and on and on. I am old and I don't want to die here in WV. I know Youngstown has changed but when my in laws check out ( they are in their 80's) I told the wife pack your bags cause I am going home!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I understand what you mean. You can't beat the Brier Hill pizza and Handels Ice Cream. Now I am making myself hungry...
