Regarding pro baseball, that only leaves you with Cincinnati and Cleveland. Take your pick. Neither one is a small city. ![]() If you can't stand the heat, you'll get that in Cincinnati during the summer, as well as the humidity. That leaves you with Cleveland. But Cleveland gets tons of snow. So....let's go with a smaller city that is close enough to the pro baseball that you can make an easy drive to the game, but large enough so you won't be bored. What do you want around you so you don't get bored? |

If you are interested in a smaller city near cleveland, I would recommend macedonia, solon, northfield or the fairlawn copley area. Great areas and you would be close to the cleveland indians for pro ball and the akron aeros for minor league baseball fun. BTW, We have a house available in macedonia. please feel free to contact me with any questions. All the best!!!

Without knowing what you're looking for, specifically, I'd recommend Tiffin. It's within a reasonable drive to any sports venue (Detroit, Toledo, Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinatti) and has the small-town benefits (low housing prices and low property taxes). Of course, if you want a lot of shopping and nightlife, you have to go to Findlay, but personally I think the quietness trumps that just about any day of the week.
