"stupid people are the only ones that could possibly be against healthcare for all"
you could look at it differently that 'stupid people are only ones that could possibly vote for Obamacare'
Obamacare was jammed through without actually designing policy that would actually reform or focus on how healthcare costs could be reduced.
Well, that's not exactly the case. The ACA does in fact focus on reducing costs. What is more important is that everyone have access outside of an emergency room's pity.

The way this policy is written will be an anchor for US citizens. Some of us (like me) will have our care compromised. Massive layoffs are happening as we speak because of the high costs of Obamacare, many of my friends that own small companies are either not hiring or are changing employees to part-time to get below the 50 employee threshold to avoid this bill.
How exactly will you have your care compromised?
Massive layoffs? Where? Papa John's?
What you're basically saying is that your cheap-arsed "friends" refuse to help pay for benefits.
Quote:
Some will just pay the penalty and not offer health benefits to employee.
And, how much sense does that make?
Quote:
Senior citizens will see medicare benefits reduced.
A lie straight from the bowels of Mitt's failed campaign.
Quote:
There will be bottleneck of providers (doctors) due to increased number of patients, patients will go to doctor for remedial sickness.
Hmmm. Yeah, the last thing they'll want is more customers.
Quote:
Many doctors will decide to retire due to all the gov't restrictions and control of payout.
Riiiiiight. Because the current insurance structure is just so lavish...
Quote:
The wait to have surgery will be much longer and some surgeries denied.
And you base this on what? I know of several people who now WILL be able to have treatments and surgeries that were formerly denied under their old care.
Quote:
You will likely see a PA vs doctor. Many of the doctors will come from other countries as the will be more willing to work for less $.
Hey!! Cost Cutting!!! Oh, wait... doctors still have to be trained to current standards? Dammit!!!

Talk to your friends in Canada on what their social medicine is like.
I have family there. They think our setup is ridiculous.
Quote:
I have Canadian friends that have gone to Detroit Hospitals for surgery for better care and less wait time.
And, they WILL implant double-Es in Detroit!
Fun Fact: Over 6 MILLION Americans sought healthcare outside of the US in 2010 (nearly 2.5% of the population). Canadians in America? About 40,000 (about 0.1% of their population). Stupid math!

Less students will go in the medical field.
Again, you base this on what? If anything, I'd say it's the tuition and/or lack of brain power.
Quote:
My son is considering being a doctor and it is possible that he may go into another field due to Obamacare.
If he listens to you, no wonder.

I would suspect the odds of Social Security surviving are much less with Obamacare implimented.
Well, if we could just get back that $4 Trillion that Reagan borrowed from it, we'd be all set.

How exactly will you have your care compromised? Ocare increased our company healthcare costs, switched from network that I had for 28 yrs to one that has less inclusive list of in-network providers
What you're basically saying is that your cheap-arsed "friends" refuse to help pay for benefits. entrepreneur friends creat the business and jobs, no one puts a gun to head for the employees to take the job. Profit is good
And, how much sense does that make? Obviously makes alot of sence to many companies as they are many that will go this route.
A lie straight from the bowels of Mitt's failed campaign. Wait and see
Hmmm. Yeah, the last thing they'll want is more customers. you don't get it..ask your canadian friends how long it takes to get appt for knee replacement..
Riiiiiight. Because the current insurance structure is just so lavish... are you naive enough to think Gov. won't control what providers will get paid on procedures??
And you base this on what?Talk to your Canadian and MASS friends.. I know of several people who now WILL be able to have treatments and surgeries that were formerly denied under their old care.

I prefer to see the best doctors in their field, not a PA or someone with bad English
I have family there. They think our setup is ridiculous. Hmm, that contradicts what my customers have been saying fore decades.
And, they WILL implant double-Es in Detroit! Not sure what this rant is
Fun Fact: Over 6 MILLION Americans sought healthcare outside of the US in 2010 (nearly 2.5% of the population). Canadians in America? About 40,000 (about 0.1% of their population). Stupid math! Stupid math and apple vs. oranges..
Obviously the Canadians that go to US have to pay out of pocket so only the well to do are able vs waiting months in Canada for lower quality care. The 2.5% Americans that went outside US for healthcare likely did at lower cost, not necessarily better care (i.e. Costa Rica). 2 different reasons
jersey dude get informed before you post. Obama has been cleaning up the mess from the GOP's policies - the policies that have significantly hurt the middle class.

Please name one GOP mess Obama as cleaned up and show evidence that the middle class is benefiting from it.
Both wars are winding down, that's a positive. The economy is improving, that's a positive. I guess it depends on what someone would blame the GOP for.
I see the cons on here conveniently didn't address all the good things that Obamacare has done...I feel its evil to put profits over people...if I'm a business owner, to have the brightest and best workers, I'd pay the premium to provide healthcare for all and take less profits...People have to come first, and business owners should put their employees over the almighty dollar...if they don't, well their pure evil in my book...Greed is a terrible terrible thing.
Actually, a lot of care provided in the U.S. to Canadians is done so under the auspicies of provincial health plans.
