That's a pretty big radius around the city. Cleveland and Pittsburgh are both just over an hour away. They have plenty of museums and other kid-friendly activities. How old are your children?

Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, The Butler in Y-Town, Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Jib Jab in Girard, Packard Museum in Warren. The museum in Canton, I forget the name , is great for young kids.

The Arms Museum in Youngstown and the Butler are nice options in the city. I've never been there, but I've heard nice things about The Children's Center for Science and Technology.

As a kid I always enjoyed the Rainforest at the Cleveland Zoo and the Natural History Museum.
