I dont know much about Newcomerstown besides its right on I-77 and its a little town. There was a lot of development going on when i went down this past summer, and it was sorrounded by nice scenery.

My in-laws live in Newcomerstown and my husband and I spent the summer there looking for jobs. (Paintballer is right. It is a really beautiful area.) A majority of the work in that area is manufacturing or farm related. My husband went to ManCan (formerly Manpower) to get office work and it took them almost 2 months to call back with any lead (by this time he already had a position and we had moved to Wooster.) Still you could try the New Philly office, they're going to have MANY more factory type jobs than anything else, though.
You could also try the New Philly paper ( http://www.timesreporter.com/ )and see what they have.
What sort of job are you looking for, BTW?

About that or less, depending on how you drive.

I grew up around Newcomerstown. It is gorgeous scenery. Everyone is really nice. It is close to the interstate. I love the rural neighborhoods. It is great for kids. I would move back to the area in a heartbeat if dear husband would let us!!!

Newcomerstown help
Hello, I am from Newcomerstown so I can confirm that what you have all said is true. There is employment, if qualified, at Express Packaging at the east edge of town near the interstate. The pay scale is just above hr/rate but a job. Other options would be of course based on experience, education, etc. You can google Times Reporter on the net in New Philadelphia to check help wanted ads. There is quite a lot of rentals in the area with rent around $350-450.00 per month. There is cheaper based on income at the Oxford Apartments. It is important to note that our town is located between Cambridge OH, Coshocton OH and New Philadelphia/Dover OH areas. All within the same driving distance so this would help increase where you can look for employment.
Good luck!
