Default Possibly moving back to Ohio

Hey all, I always keep up on what's new "back home" on the boards here. We have been down in Alabama via S.Amherst Ohio for over a year now. We have come to like it alot, especially cost of living and housing prices etc. However a job opportunity has come up in Fremont for my husband. I really miss family etc but we are not neccesarily ready to jump on the bandwagon to move back. I would consider living in Vermilion area not too far from family etc. Any suggestions on how I can find, rental properties (any kind condo, home, mobile) that are on the lake or within view of it online? I would go as far west as Huron and no further east than Lorain. Schools not a big issue we would go private if the system is subpar. Have things improved much for housing? Seems like alot of homes are still on the market that were on it when we left. I do miss the lake but not the taxes etc haha. Thanks for your help in advance...Go Browns!

Would you consider Sandusky? I have my house for sale and would love to show it to you! It doesn't have a view of the water, but it's located only four blocks from Sandusky Bay and the public boat dock/launch. Freshly painted, new roof, newer A/C and furnance and in move-in condition.

As far as jobs...well, you're on your own there. Come here with a higher education and you might find something good. Private school system is the parochial school--St. Mary's Central Catholic. Sandusky Public Schools have a levy on the ballot this fall, and the system has problems. The plus side is the real estate taxes are low (levies don't pass like they used to), so paying tuition to the Catholic school wouldn't be that much of an additional burden.
