Hey OHIO!
Here is a posting of some central city developments that have taken place in Columbus this decade.... play by play run down baby.
This condo tower is in the finishing phase, it sits in the Arena District
North Bank Tower, there is an attached loft building as well (to the right).
This is a 22 story condo tower, Miranova (on the right):

The Yukon Building
A retail freeway "cap"
And then you have massive infill projects, that take up whole city blocks like this one called the "South Campus Gateway" This is located in the University District, near Ohio State. It was completed in 2005/2006.

The Arena District is sq. miles of urban infill that's based around Columbus' downtown NHL arena, its very mixed use.
Apartments to the very back, retail to your right, and offices above, and the arena to your left, with ground floor retail.

There is a lot of brown field rebuilding in central Columbus, this entire mining and industrial site is now rehabs of old warehouses into lofts/apartments and a complete new build mixed use project (retail, residential) , there's a lot of this going on in central Chicago too, and other previously, industrial areas.

This entire industrial site is becoming a new neighborhood

AFTER
And as you tell i have stuck to only some of what has been built, this is some of what's coming
Time Tower, next condo tower infill over 20 stories
As you can tell the list can go on and on, I have barely scratched the surface of Columbus' urban infill of today, and it's the same with many other central cities around America. I hope everyone enjoyed a catch-up on the central city development in Columbus the last few years.
