My mom and i will eventually have to find a place to stay. I was thinking about talking her into moving to warren, but at the same time i don't know how bad things have gotten in warren since we're not from there. I think she would be interested in moving in a townhouse because she has a lot of stuff. i'm also thinking about kent state trumbull as my transfer next year, so i thought maybe we should just go ahead and move to warren.

the price range would be between 400-600. hopefully utilities are included.

Candlelight is most likely the least expensive for a 2 BR in a reasonably safe area. You are probably looking at $500 + utilities. Northbury Colony is nicer, about 2 miles closer to Trumbull Branch, but might be about $250 to $300 more.

Rent is high now. When people can't get mortgages the rents go up.

The Candlelight looks nice. I pass it frequently. I second the Candlelight.

I know nothing about Northbury. But I'm new here. I'm sure it's nice.

Another one I'd recommend is a small slightly hidden complex called Garfield Manor.
It's surrounded by a nice neighborhood and beautiful older homes. I walk there a lot.

Garfield Manor is very inexpensive. The smallest apartment is under 400! Not sure what that includes but for 350 or 375 it might not matter.
That apartment would be the smaller one bedroom. There is a larger one bedroom for under five and a two bedroom that is 600 something.

Garfield Manor does not have a lot of amenities such as a pool or health club. It does have laundry facilities on site. It's a good value if cost is a priority.

You could rent a house in many neighborhoods for 500 or $600/month. I used to live in Northbury and liked it, it's in the best neighborhood of those mentioned, not the the others are in bad areas. I believe Northbury runs between $575-$750/month depending what type of rental. Like someone else mentioned, rental rates have gone up over the last few years.

Here's homes for rent Hot-Ads Warren, OH

Apartments Hot-Ads Warren, OH

Please please please ask us about a street or neighborhood before agreeing to rent somewhere. I can tell you what is safe, what is sketchy and what is a bad. If it's under $450/month I would be skeptical.............
