Right now the whole nation is feeling a slow housing market. I know my family in West Palm who is trying to buy a house in Columbus hasnt sold their house for about 9 months now. Its a nation wide thing right now, and im wondering when it will pick back up again. We had no problem selling our house in Westlake though.

Thanks! I thought so too. Ill pass on Toledo, theres better parts of OH that are cheaper as well as much lower crime. Ill probably need to live in a small town to find something cheap in a low crime area. All the big cities appear to have significent crime except in the rich neighboorhoods that few can afford anyway. I know there wont be much to do in small towns, but I spent half the day on the computer anyway and I could entertain myself all day easily. Ill find hobbies to do in that small town. Perhaps theres some good fishing? For shopping, I can commute to a small city nearby. Small towns are both good and bad. Boring but cheap and low crime

So true! Although in the northern part it's pronounced O-hi-o. (I grew up in South Amherst - southwest of Cleveland - and now live in Toledo and it's the same in both)
Almost winter and construction often overlap.
By the way - what was unnecessary about the preposition?

You are correct. My school was cancelled twice this past week for cold and had a two hour delay the other three days. Morning temperatures were near zero. Wind chills were -20. C C C Cold!

Nahh, it was pretty regular here. Schools cancelled or delayed classes several times during the past few years due to wind chills. It was certainly a problem. If not wind chills, freezing rain, snow, ice, etc would cancel school. The job I held in the Toledo area required alot of travel through the metro area to different job sites, and it was a severe pain in the winter, especially with snow and bitter freezing temps. I talked to someone at my old place of employment just last week and they said that I-475 and I-75 were closed in the area due to a serious ice situation, and everyone was going nuts because of it. However, it is 70 degrees here at 2:00am. Ill take that anyday over the 4 degrees Toledo is reading right now on weather.com.
