Only somewhat good news...he should strike the whole ban down...I'm tired of beign a second class citizen in this state because I can't marry who I love w/out moving out of state.

It's even more embarassing for us in Pittsburgh because we're now within the only Northeastern state that hasn't legalized same-sex marriage.

Well, doing so would actually make Ohio a leader rather than a follower...can't buck decades of mediocrity at this point, can we?

We could also be a leader and like Colorado and Washington legalize cannabis, and tell the Feds where to stick their ban as those states have done.

Don't smoke it myself and never will but I agree...that ban needs to be ended...as long as it's regulated and taxed...it makes sense to legalize it.

We'd already be a follower to the 15 or so states and DC that already have legalized it...including the entire Northeast.
