You're no different than any other state. I live in East Tennessee which is nothing like West Tennessee. North Florida is vastly different than South Florida. There is New York City and the rest of the state. No. Cal. vs. So. Cal. and on and on. Just enjoy that you're different than Cleveland.

We can't just "enjoy our differences". We must prove that NE Ohio is better than Cincinnati!!!

I dont think Cincinnati should secede from Ohio. I grew up around Cleveland my whole life but Ive been to Cincinnati a lot of times and I like it there. I wouldnt choose Cincy over Cleveland but its good to go once in a while and I have family down there. Cincy and Cleveland are like to the two extremes for Ohio, and its interesting to see both of them. Cincinnati is the most southern like urban area and Cleveland is the most like the NE.

That's a very accurate assessment, on both counts!

I would hate to see Cinci go. The last time I was down that way I was sitting in my car on I-275 for an hour and a half. After reading all this about Cinci wanting to secede; I thought to myself that maybe everyone was trying to get in or out of the city before the big divide! I think Cinci can be so much fun. I have enjoyed myself there many times.

I like Cincinnati and would hate to see it go. I think it provides a good "yin" to Cleveland's "yang." Also, there are still alot of OSU fans in Cincinnati, despite what the original poster seemed to imply. There's not a majority of OSU fans there like there are in other big cities in the state, but there are a lot of Buckeyes fans. There are just a lot of fans of other colleges like UC, UK, and ND.
