Your favorite theme parks in Ohio?
Ohio has some of the best theme parks in the country or the world for that matter, as well as some of the most visited. What are you favorite theme parks in the state? From Cedar Point, Kings Island, or Geauga Lake.

I really like Cedar Point as well. I will have to check Kings Island out this spring. It looks like a very nice place to head to from the looks along the freeway. Kings Mills, Ohio is a very nice town in which Kings Island is located. I wouldnt mind considering a move there if Mason or Lebanon werent around.

kings island is the sister park of kings dominion here in Richmond VA.
i haven't been to the park in over 10 years but the grand kids have season passes, they thought it was great till on a trip to Ohio i sprung for the family to try cedar point, now they tell their friends about cedar point!
kings dominion has been growing with a roller coaster that shoots out of the top of a volcano and the water park is included in the admission, from what i remember it was hot and asphalt everywhere. but then again I'm getting older! the season pass price will make it a great deal for the kids

My very first job was at Cedar Point. I remember when opening day was a big local event--everyone went on opening day and if you didn't want to ride any rides, you could just pay to walk around (5.00, I think.)
Before moving down here, I often worked in the marina at Cedar Point. I watched them build Top Thrill Dragster.
It is a very nice park, but the rides got too scarey for me. A must see for any roller coaster enthusiasts though!

Here are my rankings:
Cedar Point - #1
Kings Island - A close #2
Geauga Lake - A distant #3
My favorite ride anywhere is still The Beast at Kings Island - there's nothing like it, especially at night.
Interestingly, all three parks are now under the same ownership since Cedar Fair, L.P. acquired Paramount Parks earlier this year.

I know there are a lot of new rides planned for Cedar Point in the coming year.
