I will be coming with my family (wife and 7 months old Infant) to Ohio in a month or so. Nothing is decided yet. But my work location will be Sidney, OH. I will need to take some apartment later after my hotel stay and would want to know which city would be better.
Should I stay in Sidney or Troy ?
I would also want to buy (weekly or may be bi-weekly) Indian groceries and I believe the nearest ones would be only in Dayton, OH. Or if I am really in a mood to travel, it would be Columbus, OH.
It would be also good that grocery stores like walmart or Kroger and may be some sort of mall (for those weekend strolls) is near.

People from the area please suggest where it would be good for a family like ours. I have previously stayed in DFW area but now I am back in my home country (India) and will be coming to USA soon.

Please suggest.

We personally do not like sidney or piqua. Both towns have gone downhill and to me, I wouldnt pick those to raise a family in. I would choose troy (where we live) or tipp city. Tipp has less shopping dining but its a quick drive to troy or even vandalia for that. Also, its a short drive to piqua mall from troy, though the piqua mall isnt exactly full of great stores, its not bad and has a newer movie theater. Better mall would be in beavercreek, which is 30 to 40 min from troy area.
