Looking for Oz within 5 hours of Cincinnati
Hi, I am looking for second home location and would love to find a quaint town/city within a five hour drive of Cincinnati, in any direction, with fun shopping, good restaurants, nice people, culture nearby, pretty scenery. It doesn't even have to be affordable. Love you hear your thoughts!

Newark, Ohio is very nice. It is close to Columbus, but is not a long drive from Cincinnati. Around Newark you have large shopping malls, and the scenery around the city is nice too. For instance, the Blackhand State Nature preserve is very nice. You are close to the big city ammenities, but you can be living out in the country, and not even know you are close to these big cities.

hi...we are in need of selling our home in New Franklin, aka Manchester....located in the Portage Lakes we are northeast of Cinncinati and about 4 hours from there...we have a beautiful brick ranch on 1acre wooded lot on the end of a cul-de-sac...very quiet resortful like property...we have excellent schools, close to fire and police, and we are a small but very nice area to live in....if you'd be at all interested in our home feel free to contact me....i have always called this area Gods Country....wish i didn't have to leave it!!

you might look into Yellow Springs, OH. It's surrounded by nature preserves and a very liberal-open minded community with lots of community shops and places to eat.. Dave Chappelle has a Farm there as well.

Okay, you're basically talking about an expanse of land that literally runs north/south between Detroit, MI and Knoxville, Tn.....and east/west between Pittsburgh, PA and Springfield, IL. There are numerous quaint, charming towns that meet your criteria within that area. Take your pick.
Of course it would help if I paid attention to the original date on this thread. Did anyone notice it was from January this year....?
