Live up by Warren, but travel to Martins Ferry often for my job. I like the Ohio Valley part of our state very much. How about some of that local history, Buckeyez??

Does everyone from that area have a southern drawl? I go to the University of Akron and one of the kids living on my floor is from Martin's Ferry and has a southern accent.

Just curious because I found that peculiar. I didn't realize that was very common in Ohio.

Depends on what sounds Southern to you. To me, Martins Ferry sounds like Pittsburgheese mixed with a little Southern, but mostly the Western PA accent.
