Fortunately I have been to all of these cities, so I can rank them fair and impartially.....Hehehe!!!

1. Marion...My hometown! It's a small city with big city problems. It's starting to boom on the east side
2. Columbus....Too much highway construction! But they have "Thee Ohio State University!"
3. Dayton.....No comment
4. Cleveland.....Big, crowded, and dirty!
5. Akron....No comment
6. Canton.....see #'s 3 and 5
7. Lima.....You drive through miles and miles of cornfields and then...you're
in Lima
8. Youngstown.....Who cares?

Hmmmm.....Scottie you sound like you know Cbus pretty well but they do have a Pro hockey and soccer team there. As for other sports.....OSU rules! No need for a professional basketball or football team when you have the Buckeyes

Default Wealthy Cleveland 'Burbs

I saw some Cowlumbus cheerleader was asking for a list of 10-12 Cleveland suburbs with a median income of over $70K. There's probably more like 20 just in the Cleveland MSA, not including Akron.

Hunting Valley - $230K tops the list
Pepper Pike - $150K
Gates Mills - $150K
Moreland Hills - $130K

Others I know without even looking:
Bratenhahl
Brecksville
Chagrin Falls
Independence
Westlake
Bay Village
Avon Lake
Mayfield
Cleveland Heights
University Heights
Solon
Aurora
Shaker Heights
Beachwood
Strongsville

Next Question?

Regarding that climate dispute, maybe it has to do with micro-climates. Apart from being simply further south, Cincy seems surrounded by hills, and it is on the Ohio river. Big rivers tend to function as temperature buffers, not just in Ohio.
Whenever one takes a look at the temperature table for Ohio cities, Cincy is almost always the mildest place. Not today, though Today it is Zanesville, wherever that is

Also, I don't quite understand the number crunching. I couldn't care less about the size of a city, what matters is that the place is attractive, offers everything I need and lacks what I don't want. So, why live in a huge city when the size increases the commute time significantly?

When I say city, this also includes the immediate suburbs, of that city.

Please feel free to add another Ohio city, if I didn't include one below:

(in no particular order) 10 cities to rank

Dayton-Springfield
Canton
Toledo
Cleveland
Lima
Columbus
Youngstown
Akron
Marion
Cincinnati
Why didn't Wintersville make the list? I loved it.
