No one has lost voting rights. Thats a lie!
And black on black crime is a real problem in the inner citirles of America. Do you deny this?
And fyi. The democratic party is the party who wanted slavery and fueled the kkk.
A Short History of Democrats, Republicans, and Racism
LIBERALS ended slavery and fought against racism. Those liberals were Republicans in 1864 and are Democrats and Greens today. Which party just made Jeff Sessions attorney general?

Is this what you consider diminished voting rights? If so, how is asking someone to provide a picture id or drivers license to vote discrimination? I provide my drivers licence When i vote in ohio. Or did i mis understand your point?

Breitbart is a white nationalist site.

The courts ruled that North Carolina Republicans specifically and intentionally targeted AAs with their voting laws. It was incredibly blatant. I said nothing about IDs.

It has nothing to do with the feds overstepping. Notice that none of the states rights champions have even attempted to answer who would stop the states from overstepping themselves, or in enacting unconstitutional/discriminatory laws.

Votung rights were diminished? By early voting only 10 days early instead of 17?
Not having time, money for state id?
What a crock!
Do you think its ok to vote without id?

Yes, they were. If you wanted to educate yourself on what NC actually did, there is a ton of information out there about it.

Given that voter fraud is incredibly low and that there are already a lot of checks on voting to make sure fraud doesn't take place, the ID stuff is a solution looking for a problem. And it's no surprise that Republicans like this stuff given that it disproportionately affects Democratic voters. It's a slimy as it gets.

Still no takers on the question of how states rights guarantee no overstepping or legislated discrimination, huh?

You didnt answer my question. How does producing a state id or drivers licence reduce voting rights?
You need an id for many things, ie check cashing.
Dont you think producing an id to ensure the person voting is who he or she says they are?

The people writing the law went out of their way to request data on how black people and Hispanic people vote & place restrictions on those formats and not others. Black people are more likely to vote early, register the same day, or vote provisionally out of precinct. White people are more likely to request absentee ballots. Guess which three of those got restricted & which one didn't.

That is pretty much the definition of discrimination.
