I have 2 questions posted that are still waiting for an answer.
What Ohio born performer provided multiple voices for The Jungle Book: Mowgli's Story?
and
Although not born in Ohio, the 'original Carolyn Keene' of the Nancy Drew books retired from the Toledo Blade shortly before her death. What was her real name?
Any thoughts...anyone?

That's correct.
As for the other question, Mildred Benson passed away in 2002 at the age of 96, after having retired from her columnist position at the Toledo Blade just a few months prior. She wrote more than 20 of the Nancy Drew Mysteries under the name Carolyn Keene, including the first 7 stories. More at The Mildred A. Wirt Benson Website

Lou Groen of Cincinnati introduced the Filet-o-Fish sandwich in the 1960s as a way to keep Catholic customers coming on Fridays.
A devil strip is that strip of grass between the sidewalk and the street. From word-detective.com - "According to The Dictionary of American Regional English (DARE), which pays close attention to such local lingo, "devil strip" is heard almost exclusively in Northeastern Ohio, up around Akron. DARE suggests that the term may arise from the strip's legal status as a sort of "no man's land" between public and private property."

right rrtecno,
i also read that the judge that was in charge of trying to settle the whos responsible for the land ,be it the home owner or the city slamed his gavel down and said let the devil decide or something of that sort,
im in akron today and saw a sign no paking on the devil strip. the city is replacing these signs with just a no parking sign so the term devil strip will most certainly go by the way of the old ice box, (aand the signs should be collector pieces)
when i first moved out of akron to a neww state and mentioned parking on the devil strip i got weird looks, i didnt know it was a akron/canton and youngstown thing.
some how i knew the fish thing wasnt mrs. paul,,,,,maybe gorton the fisherman was my second guess . wrong again,
keep them coming guys and gals!
