Yup...Northern Ohio narrows it down. Now think of areas in Northern Ohio where Mad Anthony Wayne conducted campaigns.

Ok, I had to look it up. Girty's Island is 7 miles west of Napoleon, Ohio. I'm going to assume that is in Seneca County. Here's a link Girty's Island

Now I'm off to learn more about Simon Girty.

Napoleon is the county seat of Henry County near the northwest corner of the state. Girty's Island is in the Maumee River, just outside the village of Florida, about halfway between Napoleon and Defiance. Anthony Wayne ordered the construction of Fort Defiance at the junction of the Maumee and Auglaize rivers that served the area during the battles with the Native Americans and until the War of 1812. Here is a link to an article about Girty at Ohio History Central. Simon Girty I thought of this question when I remembered that my father-in-law farmed the island for a number of years. Who has the next question?

Here's an OHIO TRIVIA QUESTION that no one can ever answer truthfully: How many metric tons of U R A N I U M and other isotopes are still in the MIAMI AQUIFER?

You see when they were cleaning up the Fernald Ohio plant, they said they were filtering out millions of tons of the stuff and proposed another 20 years to have it cleaned out, but the reality is once something is contaminated with any Alpha Emitters, it's virtually impossible to clean it up.

Default Pretty boy floyd

Pretty boy floyd was killed between Rogers and East liverpool. Ther is a marker ther for anyone who wants to see it... He was killed after robbing a bank in Tiltonsville (about 40 miles south of E.L.) and being at-large for some time... FBI Agent Purvis and 2 local police officers shot him after he tried to flee from a farmer's car who was giving him a ride to the bus station...

Chillicothe...because it was the capital of the Northwest Territories.
The second capital of Ohio was Zanesville.
