Snow!!!
Here comes this storm that extended from Missouri all the way to Upstate New York. Ohio is getting battered right now. Even SW Ohio that really doesn't get that much snow. The snow is really coming down right now.
How are you being affected by the snow, and what are things being done to handle the snow around you?
I plan on going to the Cavs game tonight. Wonder how many people will be there......

Hate to tell you, but the Cavs game was played at 1pm this afternoon!!! Hope you don't chance the drive to an empty Q!!
Anyway, here in Warren we have about 7 or so inches, my friend in Akron said he had 17! Yikes! Youngstown paper says this winter should end up being the snowiest on record! So, much for global warming!

No let-down for the Cavs. 20,562 packed the Q to see LBJ drop 38.

Summit county sherriff declared a Level 3 snow emergency. Meaning all roads are closed to the public. Emergency personel only. Of course some people didn't pay much attention to that but there have been very few cars moving.
Radio said 18 inches where I live. There are drifts waist high in places where the wind whipped the snow.I just heard the first snow plow go by since early Sat afternoon. It is now 3:00 am Sun.
Guess they were waiting for the end of the storm.
I have a police scanner and listening to it for has been real interesting. I just heard a snow plow operator say on the scanner that the snow is deeper than his plow is high in places and another snow plow is stuck on one of the side streets. Sounds like he slid in a ditch.
Guess we all get to dig out in the morning. No way could I get either vehicle out of the driveway right now.

I think the big snowfall is finally over. From what I have seen and heard the Cleveland area (most of it) actually got less then they had forecasted. Columbus got like 20 inches, Cincinnati got like 15+ inches, and Cleveland got 12-14 inches for the most part. In North Ridgeville and Elyria we got like 10-14 inches of snow.
That was a crazy storm. Parts of Tennessee got 12 inches of snow. Also Little Rock, Arkansas got 4+ inches of snow. Pars of Indiana got over 20 inches of snow. Buffalo got like 20 inches, and a lot of other places from Arkansas to Canada got tons of snow.

We even got snow here in Dallas! 4-9.5 inches, depending on which side of the metroplex you live in. This is the 2nd snow we have had this March. And the first time since 1910 that it has snowed twice in March. But luckily, the next day it was completely melted. We have lived in Dallas for about 5 years, and this is only the 4th time I have seen snow since we moved here. It was a beautiful scene out my window! But the beauty of it is that it melted the next day.
