I know that Hanoverton is a tiny little town in Columbiana County on rte 30.

There's a bar called the Silver Dollar Saloon that has silver dollars embedded in the bar top. Hanoverton's big claim to fame is the Spread Eagle Tavern. It's an historical restaurant/bed& breakfast that is about 200 years old. It's known for all of the autographed pictures on the walls of very powerful politicians that have eaten there. Presidents, Senators, Congressmen, and guys with crooked noses. Vice President Cheney was there recently. If you blink while driving through Hanoverton, you will miss it entirely.

Yes, lovely little in-the-middle-of-nowhere eating place (spread eagle).

I enjoyed the time I spent in the area. I did half of my student teaching in United Local Schools. Great environment, very active families, supportive teachers. Mostly a farming community (if you didn't already know that).

and, well, that's about all of the knowledge I have about it other than the closest "big" city is Salem.

Hope this helped!

^I would Salem is about a 15-30 minute drive. It actually has some good shopping needs too, and a great hospital.
