Most people from the Midwest on over to the northeast have some type of sinus symptoms, esp. during winter. Remember those TV commercials about nasal spray to relieve sinusitis? They would always interview someone from Buffalo, Chicago, etc. and so what? if you enjoy living there, then ok. If not, there is always somewhere else to find your bliss.

As far as stats go - good for you. If some things are not so good, call or write your local congressman and local officials. So long as there are good/bad..is whatever you decide to live with. For me, there are good things I like about NC, but guess what? not enough of those things important to keep my existence here...so am moving to Ohio near to folks I know. Good "salt of the earth" people in the midwest!

CrimsonGry you will enjoy living in Ohio. Its a great place to live. Every single state has its problems. The Buckeye State is a great place to call home. And many people share the same opinion as me.

Where do you live in NC? I feel the same way. Grew up in the Akron area and in '95 I moved to Wilmington, NC in my 20s because I thought it might be fun to live near the coast. And it was fun for a while, but after 10 years of working high-tech jobs for low-pay in a resort area, I moved to Raleigh. That was 4 months ago. I hated the Raleigh area when I moved here and still hate it. I'm trying to give it a chance because I have found that it is much harder to move back to where I came from (Akron/Canton area). It was a huge mistake for me to leave Ohio, but I was young and stupid. My old buddies in Ohio think I'm crazy for wanting to give up the warm weather and slower pace of life in NC, but moving back "home" is all I ever think about.
