Well, everyone knows i'm a Northeast Ohio lover. When i graduate in December i plan on staying in the Northeast corner. Hopefully, i'll be able to find something in the Youngstown metro, but if not i'll join some of my peers in Akron or Cleveland. I refuse to move to C-bus, not a fan here.

Possibly moving back...
Born and raised in Ohio, (myself), my husband and I are considering relocating from Alaska to an area such as Orrville. Doing lots of research since in the 8-years I have been out of Ohio much has changed. I prefer the SW or SE sections.

I meant to reply to this thread sooner, but forgot.
The biggest reason I'm staying in Ohio is because almost all of my family is here.
But, I like it here because of the variety Ohio offers.
We have fairly large cities, midsize cities, and countless small towns. And, I like the variety of architecture found in these places.
We also have great natural beauty. (rolling hills, open farm land, forrests, etc.) We even have our own coastline.

Grew up and lived most of my life in Cleveland, moved to North Dakota because it has the lowest crime rate in the US after our car windows were shot out, and the prostitutes were propositioning my boy on the way to school. Been in ND several years, and I'm bored to death. We're tired of all the busybodies wanting to know all our business and seeing miles of grass out the front window. Also sick of driving 60 miles to buy groceries.
I decided to come home after seeing a show on PBS about the Cuyahoga Valley and remembering the beauty of Ohio, my wife and I also recalled all the great cultural, and recreational activities available in NE Ohio. We agreed that we should never have been chased out of our home by crime and made the decision to come back. Should be home by the end of July.

Well I am not from Ohio, but my husband Terry lived there years ago and said that it was a very beautiful place to live. He moved away because his 2nd wife didn't like it and wanted to move to Florida. Well we were discussing moving and Terry was like you would like Ohio so we started researching it and finally made a decision to move to Ohio come this December. The reason we decided to move to Ohio is because we want to slow our life down and take time as a family. There are alot of things I want to teach my kids and living in a fast pace metro area isn't the place for us. I know I am not a fellow Ohioan, but I felt compelled to reply. So that is our story.
