Upcoming events in the Warren/Youngstown area
With so many people transferring to the area to work at GM Lordstown and with gas prices keeping us all close to home, i thought it would be nice to share some upcoming summer events in the Mahoning Valley.

Festival season in full swing - Trib Today
Oh yeah, and i should mention that if you attend any of the listed events, let us know how they were.
Tonight i'm going to the Scrappers game for dollar night and i'm sure it will be a blast. The Mahoning Valley Scrappers Class A Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians BTW, Travis Fryman, former 3rd baseman for the Indians, is now manager.

Every Saturday the Warren amphitheater has live music. That's a great place.
Labor Day weekend.. The Canfield Fair The Canfield Fair Lynyrd Skynyrd this year.
Three days of music, camping, and partying at Buffalo Hollow Early August. |

My parents went down to the amphitheater for the Pink Floyd tribute band and they said it was great. I heard they've been getting over 3,000 people downtown for these events.

theres a very good festival that runs for 5 days in late july wednesday-sunday at the greek church st.demetrios on atlantic. im guessing it starts july 23rd and runs through july 27th. thats in warren.
