Why dont Dayton and Toledo have a sub forum?
Dayton metro has a million people, or very close to it. Toledo has seven hundred thousand or so? Akron has five hundred thousand? Considering Dayton's history, and military significance you would definitely think it would have its own sub forum. I was seeing if it was based on population so I checked out the first state I could find. Sure enough, Alabama has a sub forum for Huntsville, which has a smaller metropolitan area than Dayton, Toledo, or Akron. I'm confused how this works.

The creation of subforums is based on message traffic about an area, not population in that area.

Yes, bowie is right.
The forum is growing quite quickly, so who knows maybe someday Dayton will have its on sub forum. There have been a lot of questions about Dayton lately, so who knows?

That was another area I was going to mention as well. Two cities getting a lot of questions are Dayton and Youngstown/Warren. |

Sure seems like Akron gets a lot of out-of-staters asking questions too.

How would one know how much traffic a message board gets when it doesn't have one in the first place??? Eg. Dayton

The decisionmakers here can count the number of messages in the state forum that are specific to a location within the state. |

Certain states like North Carolina have many sub-forums just becuase they have so many questions for that specific area. Go ahead and look, it is crazy how small some of those areas are, but they have their own sub-forum.
