What I miss about Ohio (Wyoming: school, rooftop, live in)

I was just readnig some other threads and was thinking about what I missed about Ohio:

1) Lake effect snow
2) Thunderstorms
3)Hard Rain on your rooftop
4) Saying Pop! (I say pop where I live and everyone looks at me funny! And I have lived here for over 2 years. They say soda.)
5) Snow days from school
6) 12 inches of snow overnight and building a snowman (Here we get the light stuff that's doesn't build anything!)
7) Our family, who all live in NE Ohio.

Wyoming.....Talk bout no rain or anything. We are planning on moving back to Ohio in the next 6 months at least.

Good thinking! I'd take buckeye over that ugly old hole of a place known as southern Wyoming any day of the week! I hope your move goes well.

I miss the thunderstorms as well...and the Lake. I had to laugh about the 'pop' thing....after three years in NC, I know say 'soda' and get laughed at back home!

We did have enough snow this year for my daughter to build a small snow penguin.

I do miss Ballreich potato chips, Toft's icecream and Jacobs Field. I don't really miss the snow though!
