Here are the pictures I promised of the Italian Fest earlier in this thread. I stuck around for awhile after work on Friday and took some pictures.

^Needs a little TLC.

The Lemon Grove Cafe appears to be almost ready to open.

The Semple Building renovation also looks to be nearly complete.

While I was there, the beauty pageant was held. I'm as interested in a pretty face as the next guy, so here is a picture of last years winner and this year's 8 contestants. Sorry for the poor quality, I was standing way in the back and the lighting wasn't optimal. I must also apologize because I didn't stay long enough to hear who was this year's winner.

Last year's winner:

Contestant 1:

Contestant 2:

Contestant 3:

Contestant 4:

Contestant 5:

I hope the weather hasn't put too much of a damper on events. It rained Saturday evening, and this morning.

Great Photos JR!! I'm glad to see you made it, I on the otherhand got stuck moving all weekend... as I figured... blah! I've seen a lot of activity at Lemon Grove lately, a few weeks back there was live music along w/quite a few people packed in there.

BTW, Contestant #1 gets my vote!!

Thanks for the comments!

Sorry your weekend didn't go as well as you hoped, NW ZJ.

The Lemon Grove has had a few events, but I don't think they are "officially" open yet.

That's an awesome shot of Cleveland.

Cinci and Charlotte both have their upsides and downsides. Both great cities.

More Youngstown domination of the buckeye photo thread.

I took advantage of the nice weather earlier this week and took some pictures of the beautiful homes on Youngstown's north side. I'm just going to post a few of my favorite photos here. The full tour can be found here: Youngstown - North Side Fall Tour

This one was taken earlier this summer

I love those old homes on the north side. I used to almost wreck my car every on my way to YSU admiring those stately old homes on Fifth Ave.

This is one that Bjb123 "my best half" and I saw in Oklahoma. We thaught that it would be a great place to host a Halloween party every year. Now I know thats its not a picture of a home in Ohio, but we're from Ohio. So does that count?
