Unfortunately, most of the beautiful houses on the north side need a little TLC. (at least)

I know I'm overgeneralizing, but the people who live in and love these houses usually don't quite have enough money to keep them in perfect shape. But, the people who do have the money to keep them in shape aren't interested, because they'd rather live in the suburbs.

There's a ton of truth to that statement. No one wants a home that they can be proud of, unless it was just built and they don't have to do a thing with because of all the vinyl that's on the outside. Their pride come through the wallet and not through hard work.

Trust me, things are starting to change in the urban department. You are seeing a lot of people with ambition leave the suburbs and head for the cities rehabing these amazing houses.

Great set of photos, JR!

I really need to get out & do some shooting in & around Youngstown again. Lately I've been focusing on old bridges & railroad lines... lol

Torch Level Clear? Sorry, just left that one wide open.

I got a wild hair and ran around downtown Lebanon in the middle of the night, these are the shots that turned out the best.

Sorry, if you liked old houses as much as I do, you wouldn't think that's funny either.

Does anyone have a picture of the bridgekeeper's booth on the Maumee River in Toledo? It was my great- grandfather's job decades ago.
